Hivelist Tokenomics
Hivelist Token, ticker symbol LIST, is the native token for the Hivelist platform, built on Hive-Engine. It is fast, secure and free to transact LIST tokens which and is earned through our curation system called Proof of Brain or through staking. LIST can be used in e-commerce transactions on our on-chain classifieds network, or used to purchase NFTs from our NFT marketplace.
Total Supply of LIST: 500,000,000 which have already been minted and issued to the @hivelist.token account which handles the proof of brain and staking rewards pool issuance.
Circulating supply decreases when burning feature is used.
Use one or more of the following tags in your post to activate your post on the Hivelist platform and start earning LIST:

Earning LIST Tokens
Rewards Pool for LIST is split into 90% Proof of Brain and 10% Staking. Rewards pool is held and issued by the @hivelist.token account. You can also earn LIST by using it as a currency and accepting it for your products and services or NFTs that you offer. Another way to earn the LIST token is through providing liquidity to our defi swap pool called a Diesel Pool.
Proof of Brain Distribution
First way to earn LIST tokens is with the proof of brain distribution model, which is the active posting and curation side of the token. When you post your ad to Hivelist and use the tags #hivelist and or #classifieds, your post will also show on Hivelist.org and the Hivelist Classifieds community and your post will then start earning LIST tokens just like Hive!
Staking
The second way to earn LIST is by staking LIST! The more you earn or purchase, then stake, the more you earn, as well as the more weight your vote has on posts, giving you more resource power in the community.
Providing Liquidity to Diesel Pool
The third way to earn LIST is by providing liquidity to the LIST/SWAP.HIVE diesel pool! The more liquidity you provide, the more LIST and various other Hive-Engine tokens you earn, including our COM token. Providing liquidity to our diesel pool helps grow our market volume and gives people the ability to swap their HIVE for LIST tokens to use in our NFT marketplace, boost posts, or use for trade on our e-commerce platform! And of course, you can trade your LIST tokens for SWAP.HIVE too!
LIST Delegation
LIST Tokens can be delegated much like the Hive token. You have to have your tokens staked to be able to delegate the tokens. Delegation is a way to ‘loan’ your tokens to another user without losing control over the tokens. Delegation can be used to help another member earn some of their first tokens, loaned to give an earning boost, and more! If you no longer want to delegate your tokens, you simply cancel the delegation and the tokens are returned to your staking pool just 2 days after being un-delegated.
LIST Token Burning
LIST Tokens can can be burned when used for post promotion using our tool on Hivelist.org. LIST is also burned when used as vendor fees on the HiveLIST Store and when used as whitelisting fees and minting fees on our native HiveLIST NFT Marketplace.
Burning LIST decreases the circulating supply of the token with hopes of eventually increasing its value.

Note About Token Supply Issuance
In the beginning stages of the Hive-Engine second layer, there wasn’t much information or direction on how to set up the tokenomics of your project. We are really left to our own devices to figure it out. When Hivelist was created, we worked with the creator of the Weedcash Network, which was the very first Hive-Engine tribal token and community and used what he did as a model for our token.
In the beginning, we had to set up an issuing account for the rewards pool, so we made the @hivelist.token account the distribution account for the rewards pool. At first we issued 10% of the supply to the account, but later on ended up issuing the whole amount to the rewards pool account, really just out of not knowing what we were doing (just being honest here, haha).
This is the reason why you see the entire supply in circulation. Follow the @hivelist account on Hive for weekly token updates where we break down the current token supply on how many tokens are being staked, have been burned, and are left to be distributed.
A fair distributed token with no presale and no premine that celebrates and supports commerce on the Hive blockchain. Our platform is powered by community, and we give back by supporting the community through upvotes and curation on top of giving the opportunity for people to do business on the blockchain.
Staking COM tokens earns you piece of the curation pie! We take all of our Hive-Engine rewards for the month and sell it into SWAP.HIVE paid out monthly to COM token stakers. The more COM you have staked, the more of the monthly pie you earn. This payout uses the Hive-Engine Airdrop smart contract to send the tokens out to stakeholders.
Total supply of the HiveCommerce COM token is 20,000,000
Hive Power Delegation
Earn .1 COM tokens per each Hive Power delegated to the @hivelist account.
Earn COM by providing liquidity to the LIST diesel pool
The ecosystem is also powered by market liquidity. So to incentivize people to help our market grow, COM tokens are paid out to those who provide liquidity to the LIST/SWAP.HIVE diesel pool along with LIST tokens and other various Hive-Engine tokens. The more liquidity you provide to our pool, the more you will earn!
